A new business start-up informational and networking site for mom entrepreneurs, PinkPowerSuit.com strives to make it as easy, fast and as affordable as possible for moms to start their very own internet business. Founder and owner Natasha Clark, mom to four young children, single-handedly began creating the website on Valentine's Day, 2006.
"I had a number of friends who were working outside the home part-time and wishing they could be home full-time with their children, and still manage to bring in some money," says Clark. "I had a successful small online business in the past, and so I would field questions for ideas about what my friends could do online. I couldn't find any really terrific resource online for aspiring mom entrepreneurs, so I set about creating one. Having created a solid base upon which to grow, I am at a crossroads where I need to hire help, but lack the resources. I would love to use this prize money to create opportunities for single moms especially to start small home businesses. Press and advertising are most needed."
